Privacy policy.

What data this website collects, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected on this website is Akiyo, a SASU domiciled at 14 rue Bausset, 75015 Paris, France, represented by Sylvain Deloux as its President.

Data collected and purposes

This website collects personal data in two cases:

  • Contact form: your name, your email address and your message, to answer your request. This processing is based on the pre-contractual steps taken at your request or, failing that, on Akiyo's legitimate interest in answering the people who reach out.
  • Visit statistics: your IP address, your browser, your language, the page viewed and the referring page, sent server-side to an instance of Plausible Analytics hosted by Akiyo, to measure the website's audience. This processing is based on Akiyo's legitimate interest in knowing how its website is visited. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Recipients

Your data is intended for Akiyo only. It goes through the following technical providers, which process it on its behalf:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), host of the website, its database and the visit statistics, whose servers are located in Germany;
  • Mailtrap (Railsware Products Studio LLC, United States), which delivers the notification email of each message received through the contact form. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.

Retention period

The messages received through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to follow up on our exchanges and on the business relationship that may result from them. The visit statistics are kept to follow the website's audience over time. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time.

Cookies

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookie: no consent banner is therefore needed. Only a strictly necessary technical cookie is set when the contact form is sent, to protect it against forged submissions, and deleted as soon as the form is sent.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to me through the contact form of this website. If, after contacting me, you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
